Album containing 60 photographs (RCINs 2865010-2865069) of works by or after Ary Scheffer (1795-1858). Sheffer was the second artist to be posthumously horoured by Robert Bingham with a commercially available album entirely devoted to his work. It followed Bingham's successful monograph 'Oeuvre de Paul Delaroche', published in 1858 by Goupil (RCIN 1133530).
