Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, created in 1842 and now on display at the Château Malmaison (Inv. no. MV 5326). This portrait of Henri-Gratien, comte Bertrand (1773-1844), depicts the French general facing a quarter to the left. His right hand is tucked inside his uniform's waistcoat. The painting has been photographed in its original frame.
