Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, created in 1825 and first shown at the Leburn Hall in Paris in 1828. The image depicts two children standing on a winding path during a storm. The younger girl covers her left ear with her left hand and screws her eyes shut, whilst sheltering under the apron of the older girl. The latter gazes upwards to the left and holds a basket in her right arm.
