Glass plate negative of Mika and Pedro, two puts sitting on the steps of a fence gate at the Royal Kennels, Windsor. Pedro was bought in 1853 and died in 8 June 1858, while Minka was given to Queen Victoria in 1847 and died in 17 November 1859.

The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2800705) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
