1854RCIN 2082423
Glass plate negative of Dominic, described as Queen Victoria's Scotch terrier. The dog is seated on a high backed wooden chair placed in front of a fence gate at the Royal Kennels, Windsor.
Dominic was born at Windsor in 1851 and died in 1861.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2105090) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
