A volume of correspondence from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria, dating from 1844 to 1861, the year of Albert's death. Various envelopes, including wax seals, are also pasted into the back of the volume.
English translations of some of the letters are published in 'Letters of the Prince Consort 1831-1861 / selected and edited by Dr. Kurt Jagow ; translated by E.T.S. Dugdale. 1938, and have been marked in the catalogue records' 'Publications' field.
