Includes the Princess Royal making reference to 'Baby' [Princess Beatrice] having measles and also referring to her own children. She writes about the political situation and a conflict between William I of Prussia and the ministers including with reference to Prince Hohenzollern. She also mentions the fêtes in Berlin and a report that indicates that Queen Victoria is losing her mind. She suggests to her father an article in the Court Circular to lessen the effect of the report.
