Includes the Princess Royal referring to Prince Leopold's illness and her own son being shut up in a dark room by Dr Wegner. She writes of her upcoming trip to Strelitz and meeting with Princess Alix [Alexandra of Denmark]. She makes further comments on politics and refers to Louis [of Hesse] being unwell and cared for by Sir James [Clark]. She also mentions that Langenbeck was pleased with the progress of her son's arm and explains why she cannot bring Countess Blücher with her to England.
