Includes the Princess Royal thanking her father for allowing Affie [Prince Alfred] to visit and expressing her view that Affie and Mr [John Clayton] Cowell are on the best of terms. She writes that Frederick William IV of Prussia is again in danger with his health. She refers to Dr Becker's refusal and asks whether Dr Brandis or Dr Ruland have any brothers. She asks about Princess Alice's ladies and gentleman, and whether she will live in the Palais at Darmstadt.
