Includes the Princess Royal mentioning that she is glad her father likes the memorandum she wrote. She discusses how affairs are managed and the Head of State's fear of being dictated to. She mentions that she read Prince Albert's letter to the Prince and Princess Hohenzollern who were delighted with it. She also asks her father a favour regarding the 'bust of William' that she made for her mother to see and mentions that it was Dr Ruland who did not give him the lapis.
