Princess Louise tells her father that they have visited Carisbrook[e] Castle and that Queen Victoria took her and Prince Leopold out on the Fairy. She recounts how they saw Prince Alfred on the 'Rollo' climb to the top of the mast. She also mentions that 'Grandmama' left this morning.
