Letter from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria in which he expresses his distress regarding their disagreement over George Anson. He writes that he does not initially require a Treasurer when he arrives in England so therefore one does not need to be appointed in his absence. He goes on to describe the festivities surrounding his father's birthday, including a performance of 'Robert le Diable'.
