Letter from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria regarding his arrival in Kalenberg and plans for his journey back to England

Letter from Prince Albert to Queen Victoria, written in German on mourning paper. On 5 April he writes from Kalenberg of his arrival in Kalenberg and says how 'lovely and friendly is this dear old country'. He writes of his plans to visit his favourite places and people in the town. Albert also writes of their departure from Gotha and of his reception at Meiningen, and later of visiting the Eckhardsberg, which was to be his father's place of burial.
On 6 April Albert wrote from Coburg to say that he would start his journey back to England in two days time and would arrive in Windsor 'by Thursday evening'. He also mentions that he would have a conversation at Bemberg with the Crown Prince of Bavaria.
