An account of Thomas Gould, an oilman at 14 York Street Westminster, who sold a half penny worth of gunpowder to a man; an amount that would normally be sold to a child. He discusses the gunpowder in paper that he had sold him and states that he did not recognise anyone at Newgate as the person who had been in his shop.
