An account taken by Thomas Hall on the experience of Police Constable James Torrington Partridge during the attempt on Queen Victoria's life. James Torrington Partridge states that he was on duty in the park when the carriages passed and then later saw a group of people coming towards the Horse Guards. He took a pistol from a boy who had said that he got it from a 'humpbacked boy with a broken nose'. Copy.
