An account of Colonel Wylde's experience of the attempt on Queen Victoria's life by a man with a pistol. He describes being in attendance on horseback and seeing the prisoner lowering his hand after hearing the report of a pistol. Also includes a note regarding the prisoner being remanded before the Council at Whitehall.
