The Trinity with Saints is Raphael's earliest known fresco, but was left unfinished at his death in 1520. The bottom half of the fresco was then completed by Perugino. See RCIN 853796 for a photograph of a preparatory drawing by Raphael, now in the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, for the fresco. According to Passavant's monograph on Raphael, which was published in 1839 (see Bibliographic References), this print and another by Krüger, reproducing the figure of Christ from the fresco (see RCIN 853793), were made in 1836.
