Albumen print | 16.1 x 13.1 cm (image) | RCIN 2906068

Photograph of a full length portrait of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (1841-1910) seated, facing three-quarters to the left. He turns his head to look at the camera. He is dressed in a broad brimmed hat, a cloak with fake snow attached, a long, light colour beard, dark colour shirt and trousers and fur lined boots. He holds an axe in his right hand and what appears to be some sort of trap in his left hand.

The Prince of Wales is dressed as Winter for a performance of 'Tableaux of the Seasons'.
