Photograph of a full length double portrait of Princess Helena, later Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, (1846-1923) and Princess Louise, later Duchess of Argyll (1848-1939). Princess Helena, on the left, is seated on a pedestal with her right arm supported on a draped stand. Princess Louise stands on the right, leaning against the pedestal. Both princesses wear light colour bonnets, dark colour jackets lined with light colour fur, dark colour shirts, light colour skirts and stockings and dark colour leather boots.
