Photograph of Princess Helena (1846-1923) in a 3/4 length portrait, in the dress she wore at a Fancy Ball at Claremont on 29 February 1865. Her hair is powdered in ringlets. She wears a short-sleeved dress trimmed with lace that had belonged to Queen Victoria, and wears a necklace and gloves.
