Photograph of a painting of an old lady making lace by Josephus Laurentius Dyckmans (1811-88). The woman wears a light colour bonnet and spectacles on the end of her nose. A cat sleeps on a stool located on the right side of the photograph. There is a window on the left side of the photograph.

The painting (RCIN 406575) was given to Prince Albert by Queen Victoria on 26 August 1846.
