Photograph of a view of Eagle's Nest Mountain, Killarney. The mountain is located in the background and there is a lake in the middle ground. In the foreground is a path surrounded by trees, rocks and shrubbery. A man is seated beside the path, on the right hand side of the photograph. He wears a light colour hat, dark colour shirt and light colour trousers.
A carbon copy is adhered on top of the original albumen print. Carbon prints are more stable compared to albumen prints, the latter prone to fading. Carbon copies were therefore created for posterity.
