Above the door is a frieze depicting King Fernando V of Aragon (1452-1516) kneeling in right side profile and opposite, his wife Isabella I of Castille (1451-1504), also kneeling but in left side profile. In the centre, is a relief of the Virgin with the infant Jesus. Above this is a relief of Christ on the cross. In front of the door stand three tree stumps and bundles of branches in a row. An empty sentry box stands on the left in the foreground.
