Lord Granville led the British delegation at the coronation of Alexander II, Emperor of Russia. He later wrote a letter to Queen Victoria outlining his impressions of the new Emperor, the coronation celebrations and the state of Russia. This is one of a series of photographs taken by Corporal J Mack during the coronation celebrations.
