Photograph of the 17th-century facade of the Church of San Esteban in Salamanca, Spain. At ground level, seven men are seated on steps leading to the main door of the church above which is a tympanum featuring the Martyrdom of St Stephen. The walls are adorned with the figures of the Apostles and at the top of the arched recess is a Calvary.
