Photograph of the ruins of the Castle of Jarandilla de la Vera in the Extremadura region of Spain. A square tower with a tiled roof stands in the background. Adjoining this building is a stone veranda or gallery with several arches supported by Romanesque columns with Gothic tracery in the balustrade. A decoration in relief is carved above a doorway on the far left. Undergrowth dominates the foreground.
