Photograph of a close-up section of the aqueduct in Segovia that was probably erected by the Emperor Domitian (51-96 AD) during the 1st century AD. The photograph shows the pillars that support the two tiers of arches that in turn, support the trough that carries water from the Fuente Fria river. In the right foreground stands a house with laundry hanging outside.
