Photograph of the Alcázar, or Castle, of Segovia as viewed from Fuencisla. The Castle is perched on top of sheer cliffs with a high wall running halfway up the side of the mountain. The castle features towers with conical shaped, slated roofs, features that were introduced by King Philip II (1527-98) during the 16th century.
