Photograph of the facade of the University Library, Salamanca. Above the double doors are three carved tiers in decorative and heraldic style with the medallions inter-worked with scrolls. The remains of wall painting and inscriptions can be seen flanking the first tier, in the centre of which is an inscription in Greek that reads 'The Kings to the University, and this to the Kings.'
