Photograph of Chateau de Boran at Boran sur Oise, near Paris, seen from the garden front. The building has ten bays, four stories (including in the steep roof), twin turret towers and two bays with large windows on either side. There are building materials, like wood planks, on the lawn in front of the building. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
