Photograph of the south portal of Notre Dame d'Amiens. The portal is decorated with full length statues of saints. The Virgin Mary is depicted on the central column. Reliefs inside and around the portal depict the life of Christ. This photograph is part of an album of prints presented to Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as a memento of their state visit to France from 18-27 August 1855
