Photograph of a half-length portrait of Robert Grant of Lurg (1678-1771) in highland dress. The sitter is facing to the viewer, extending his right hand towards his left hip to reach for his musket. He has a long beard without moustache and wears a plumed beret.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of The Earl of Seafield, Castle Grant, Inverness-shire.
