Photograph of a full-length portrait of James Drummond, 6th Earl and 3rd titular Duke of Perth (1713-1746) in highland dress. The sitter is depicted standing in a Scottish landscape, facing to the viewer. His right hand lifts the long plaid wrapped around his body to reveal the tilt of a sword held in his left hand.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of The Duke of Richmond, Gordon Castle, Banffshire.
