Photograph of a half-length portrait of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (1720-88) as an infant. The unbreeched boy is facing slight to the left, turning his head to the right and gazing ahead. He wears a brocade dress with a sash over his left shoulder and a tall headpiece adorned with various jewels and plumes. The portrait is enclosed in an oval medallion with a crown and Prince of Wales feathers in each corner.
At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of Sir Patrick Murray-Threipland, Bart. of Fingask (1800–1882), Fingask Castle, Perthsire. According to the album's table of contents, the painting was created by David Morier (1705-1770).
