'Mrs. Grant of Carron'

Photograph of a half-length portrait of Elizabeth Grant of Carron (1745-1814). The sitter faces slightly to the left and gazes at the viewer. She wears a lace-trimmed dress with a frilled shawl around her shoulder. A lace bonnet covers partly her hair and ties under her chin.

At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of The Earl of Seafield, Castle Grant, Inverness-shire.
