Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, completed in 1836 and now in the collection of the National Trust of Scotland (Inv. no. 79-18). This portrait of François-Pierre-Guillaume Guizot (1787-1874) depicts the French politician half-length facing a quarter to the left. His left arm rests on a plinth, whilst his right hand is tucked inside his jacket.
