Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, created in 1850 and now in the collection of the Société Générale, Paris. This three-quarter length portrait of Eugène Schneider (1805-1875) depicts the French industrialist standing, facing a quarter to the right and looking at the viewer. His hands are clasped in frond of him, with his right hand holding a top hat.
