Photograph of a painting by Paul Delaroche, created in 1854 and perhaps once owned by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-90). The work depicts a three-quarter lenght portrait of a young woman against a landscape of ploughed fields. She stands facing a quarter to the left, carrying a cradle with a baby on her right shoulder. A young boy holding a load of hay stands beside her, to the right.
