Photograph of a 15th century Italian bronze door knocker in the form of a cross around which a ram's horn is entwined, Just below the cross is a central putti flanked by two other putti. Two female figures embrace one another at the centre of the base.
These pieces formed part of the M Soulages collection that were exhibited at the Museum of Ornamental Art in Marlborough House in December 1856.
