Photograph of three 14th and 15th century medallions. In the centre, a medal bearing a representation of Fillipo Maria Visconti, the Duke of Milan in right side profile and wearing a hat. On the left is a medallion bearing the figure of a woman in drapes who holds a mirror and a pair of compasses. On the right is a third medal with a relief of Mars and Bellona crowning Alfonso, the King of Naples.
These pieces formed part of the M Soulages collection that were exhibited in the Museum of Ornamental Art in Marlborough House in December 1856.
