Photograph of the painting 'Premier Né' (First Born). The painting depicts a young couple seated together, supporting the weight of a young infant. The couple look down at the child. The painting was given to Prince Albert (1819-61) by Queen Victoria. The painting is no longer in the Royal Collection.
Photograph is from a folder of photographs of paintings and artworks displayed in Prince Albert's rooms. This painting was displayed in Prince Albert's writing room, on the south side.
