'Field-Marshal Keith'

Photograph of a three-quarter-length portrait of Field Marshal James Francis Edward Keith (1696-1758). The sitter is facing slight to the right, leaning against a low wall. He turns his head to the left and gazes ahead. His right hand rests on a baton, while his left hand is placed on his hip. He wears a suit of amour with a sash around his waist and a long wig.

At the time of the photograph, the painting was in the collection of The Earl of Kintore, Keith-Hall, Aberdineshire. According to the album's table of contents, the work was created by Nicholas Blakey (c. 1711-58) in 1739.
