Photograph of an enamelled plaque of Jean de Bertrand (1482–1560) from the collection of the Louvre, Paris (MR R 282). Created in the first half of the sixteen century in Limoges, the bust-length portrait depicts the bearded French cardinal facing slightly to the left and gazing ahead. He wears a dark coat over a doublet and a biretta on his head.
The work has been attributed to Léonard Limosin (c.1506-1577).
