Photograph of a full-length portrait of Lady Henrietta Mordaunt (c.1688–1760), later Duchess of Gordon, as a child. Facing three-quarters to the right, the young girl is standing against the edge of a wall opening to a landscape to the right. She wears a silk dress and a pearl necklace, her hair dressed in loose ringlets. On the left, a dog that paws at her skirt.

At the time of the photograph, the painting was attributed to Sir Peter Lely (1618-1680) and was in the collection of The Duke of Richmond, Gordon Castle, Banffshire.
