Photograph of a Limoges enamel plaque created in 1553 by Léonard Limosin (c.1506-1577), part of his Crucifixion retable for Saint-Chapelle, Paris (see RCIN 2864504). As with the rest of the retable, this fragment has been in the collection of the Louvre since 1816 (MR 208 1). It shows an angel in full-length, facing to the right and holding up the nails of the Crucifixion, Instruments of the Passion
