Glass plate negative of Trusso and Ferry, described as Queen Victoria's greyhound and scotch terrier respectively. The two dogs are lying on the ground in front of a pedestrian gate at the Royal Kennels, Windsor.
Ferry was given to the Queen by Lord Roseberry.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative (RCIN 2105083) can be found in an album belonging to Queen Victoria.
