The Victoria and Albert
c.1858RCIN 2084834
Glass plate negative of the Royal yacht Victoria and Albert on the water with the shoreline in the foreground. The yacht has two funnels and three masts with the ensign flying to the rear of the yacht. A second unidentified vessel can be seen on the right.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative do not seem to exist in the Collection, however a variant is represented by RCIN 2932767.
