Glass plate negative featuring two almost identical views of the Prince Consort's Dressing Room at Windsor Castle. The image focuses on the prince's dressing table, complete with a pedestal mirror, brush set, boxes, caskets and other toilet service items. The table is positioned in front of a large window overlooking the gardens at the North Terrace.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exists in the Collection, RCIN 2103780.
