Feb 1861RCIN 2082507
Glass plate negative of a full length portrait of Princess Alice standing, facing to the right. She turns her head very slightly towards the camera and gazes ahead. She holds a posy and a brocade shawl in her hands that she places directly in front of her.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. Prints from this negative exist in the Collection (e.g. RCINs 2117030 and 2900438).
