Glass plate negative of a unidentified painting depicting a half-length portrait of Prince Albert. The prince is facing three-quarters to the left, turning his gaze to look at the viewer. The work was photographed in its within its gilt-wood frame.
The glass plate negative has been photographed showing the coated side and therefore the image appears laterally reversed. A print from this negative exist in the Collection, RCIN 2931356.h.
